My name is Wayne Froelich, and I am the owner/operator of Mountainview Contractors. I am a father of two, born and raised in Spokane WA. I grew up one of seven children with two loving parents. They are still together, married since 1964 and my heroes in so many ways. I have grown up with an incredible role model watching and learning from my dad. My mom has the biggest heart of anyone I have met (close second is my longtime girlfriend).

I found a love for woodworking (as well as anything with a motor) by spending time in my dad’s shop. It didn’t matter what we were building, just that we were doing it together. He has a lot of experience in commercial construction as well as fine finish cabinetry and intricate wood projects. I quit my job as a waiter when I was 20 to pursue the construction field. In a short time, I was part of the “elaborate” team. Very fortunate to learn and work beside a team of finish carpenters and learning even more, soaking it all in, as much as possible anyway. My love for endless possibilities to build pulled me in and kept me there.

I took a hiatus from carpentry to stay close to home and have a more dedicated schedule once my beautiful daughter was expected. I pursued my other love in working on vehicles. I built a very capable off roading truck with lots of power, so why not turn into a career right?

That same love kept me wanting more out of my dirt bike. A little tweak here and lighter piston there, and voila, I created a monster dirt bike. I ended up in the hospital back-to-back and found myself broken. After the long recovery process, I took a leap into small business and failure was and is not an option, I strive to be better today than yesterday.

I felt unfulfilled for years and made the decision to get back into the construction field but this time, a more personal approach. “Striving to make your home more like you” was the motto, and the model of my business. I take every project personally and do my best to really hear the customer and do my best to make their dreams possible. With an incredible team, on site and in the office, respect and efficiency is our priority. Our goal is to make you part of the final decisions and ultimately put your hopes and dreams first. Custom outdoor spaces are where we shine from covered outdoor kitchen areas to timber framing, to the deck of your dreams. Interior remodels and additions are right in our wheelhouse as well.
